Personality Profile: Emma is a very sweet, loving, hound mix. She is about 1.5 yo. She weighs about 45lbs and won’t get any bigger. She might put on a few lbs as she fills out, she is extremely underweight. She was found on I 85/40 huddled up against the median on the highway. After being transferred from Alamance Co. shelter, Emma entered her foster home. She gets along with other dogs but would really prefer to be sitting next to you gettin’ some lovin’. She doesn’t seem to mind cats or little kids. She has been friendly with everyone she’s met. She is not high energy but loves to walk and hike. A few good a walks a day would be great. She knows that inside is for being calm. She walks on a leash good and knows the basic commands. She is housebroke and over all the puppy chewing and mischief. She has been spayed, is up to date on all of her shots but she is Heartworm positive. She has been treated and should make a full recovery.
