Personality Profile: Do you know someone who is special in their own unique way? Well they might want to meet our special boy Yang. After months of living in the county shelter with his brother Ying, Yang came here to stay with us at p4e. His brother was very outgoing and was adopted right away and here Yang sat, missing his best friend and brother. On top of his broken heart, he had an eye infection that just wouldn't clear up. One of our wonderful volunteers stepped up for Yang, and took him to a specialty vet and had eye surgery that cleared up his eye for good. When he went in for surgery the vet also noticed that he had a special heart to go along with his special eye. Yang is currently on heart medicine and is doing very well with it. And don't worry that it is expensive, it is only $20 a year total for his medicine!! It is going to keep his heart stabilized and maybe eventualy heal it up. OF course there is no cure for the lonliness he feels missing his brother, but his heart has been emotionally healing with the love of staff and volunteers. He currently resides in cat room 2 where he is a hit with everyone that goes into that room. He now is a super loving affectionate lap cat who makes biscuits in your lap, or muffins if you prefer and purrrrs and purrrs and purrrrs. We have all had our share of heart aches and pain, and Yang teaches us that even though life can be really tough sometimes, if your strong enough and brave enough, you can get through anything. And when ya do you can always make biscuits or muffins to make you happy and share with your friends.
