Personality Profile: Alonza was surrendered to the county shelter when one of her owners passed away. She lived with a 3 year old and a 6 year old, so she is wonderful with kids. She is housetrained, loves sleeping on her doggie beds in our office, and is wonderful with cats. Her favorite toy in the world is tennis balls. She loves to chase them around in the office and in the play yards, and sometimes she likes to walk around with one in her mouth. She loves to roll over and get belly rubs. She has gone through three surgeries now, and one was done at VSH in Cary to remove a cancerous tumor. She will need x-rays every 6 monts for the next 2 years to ensure the cancer is not comming back. Because of that, her adoption fee is waived. And now Alonza has a wonderful sponsor who is willing to cover the cost of the x-rays that will be needed!!!
