Personality Profile: Rita is a sweet little lady who came to us form the county shelter after her puppies were weened. All her pups went up north to rescue, and she wasn't able to go with them. She missed her babies terribly at first, and is slowy ajusting to life with out them. Sometimes she will cry in her kennel until someone will stop in and visit with her and tell here everything is o.k. Those moments are easing down with time. She loves to be right at your side looking into your eyes and wishing you would take her home. She is wonderful with other dogs, children, and seems to be o.k with cats too. When she met the kitttens in the nursery here, she wanted to take them all back to kennel and be there Momma. She also has learned how to walk on a leash and is great on walks. She apears to be house trianed here, being that she never has any accidents in her room. Rita would make a great addtion to a family who has lots of love to share with her, and she will return it with her endless love and affection.
