Miss. Virginia *Adopted*
Age: 6 years
Sex: Female
Color: Black
Breed: Shih Tzu Mix
Personality Profile: Miss. Virginia and her buddy Mr. Boston came to us from a very depressing situation. Poor little Virginia was surrendered to the county shelter with Mr. B by a woman who no longer could care for them. Miss. V. was so matted we didn't know if she really was a girl or boy until we shaved her down and discoverd that yes, she really was a girl! THe shaving process took two days to complete. Many baths and many shaves later,. here she is little Miss V., now happy and felling like a dog again. The things that we found in her mats we will not discuss now, it's to heart wrentching to think about after dealing with it. The pain and anguish this litle lady must have been in is unbearable to think about. The fact that she is soo loving and wants to be with you breaks your heart. She has been through a life of agony and yet, she has a smile on her face everyday, and wants to be with you, sitting in your lap, being caried around like a baby, or just sitting by your side awaitng a gentle stroke , (that she can actully feel now that we can see the dog that laid beneath all the nastiness that had encased her). To no surprise she is heartworm positive and needs to go through treatment, which can be hard on little girls like her. Once she completes that she really can be the dog she was born to be, and leave behind her the dog that once was formally known as Raven. Take one look at her and scoop her up in your arms, and you will be instantly in love and longing to be the one to adopt her and treat her like a spoiled princess that she diserves.
