Personality Profile: This shy sweet girl has been with us since January of 2009. She is so shy and hides from strangers, hence why she is still here. She is a tiny little beauty, but always gets overlooked in the cat rooms. Most people want the cat that runs right to them and not the one that is scared and hiding. IN the right home Gypsy would blossom into the wonderful cat that is just dying to come out. Sometimes the kitties just are overwhelmed by all the activity in the rooms and are like sweet Gypsy, hiding and waiting for just the right person to find her and give her forever home that she justly disereves. We have a foster to adopt program where you can fill out the application, sign the foster to adopt contract, put a $25 deposit down and take her home for a trail period to see how things go. Normally we only do it for a week, but for this special girl, we would give you much longer than that. To see Gypsy in a home would be heavenly.

Personality Profile: *FRONT DECLAWED* Sweet big Lincoln has been bounced around a bit in his time. He was in a happy home and then his humans got a divorce and he ended up comming to us. He then got adopted but was returned because his adoptive family had gotten a kitten and he didn't want to play with the kitten. So here he is with us again. He was nervous to be back at first, but he is now content in cat room 2. He likes to lounge around and watch kitty T.V. He never starts fights with the other cats, and he isn't pushy. He is a love bug that loves to be petted and snuggle in your lap.

Personality Profile: Sammy came to us as an owner surrender from the shelter. He had a massive infection in his left ear, which was unfortunately, left untreated. His ear canal had swollen shut from the inflammation, consequently, leaving amputation as his best option. He is recovering quickly & is more than ready for his new home! As a shy guy, he would do best in a home with little commotion. We believe he is somewhat shy due to the pain he endeared while in the "care" of his human. A little love and compassion would go a long way with this guy! Once petted, he will raise his rump and flip his tail, thoroughly enjoying the rub-down. Personality Profile: B.Q. and all her sisters are starting to adjust to their new rutine. After being in a home for over eight years, and then being moved around from shelter, to here, has been a big change for her. Out of the whole family, B.Q. has handled it the best. She likes to be picked up, held and gently stroked down her back. Sometimes she will tuck her fluffy little head under your arm for safety. We tell her won't let her fall and hold her a little tighter, and she will pop her cute little face back out. She is a great kitty that is looking foward to moving on and finding her new forever home. Personality Profile: Toastie is a very easy going, happy go lucky boy. He loves exploring the cat room, chasing the occasional fly (or flying object that only he can see), going as fast as he can through the kitty chute, or chasing felt mice and all other cat toys. He is great with the other kitties, children, and isn't bothered by dogs either. He is a very loving boy and he will even stand up on his back feet to grab your attention and tell you to love him now and forever. He would fit into any home with ease. Personality Profile: Bobby Socks is a lady with personality! She had a terrible thing happen to her when she was just a wee little girl. A very cruel person shot her with a bee bee that left her front leg disformed. She doesn't let that stop her though. She can truck down the halls with the best of the best and jump into the highest cubbies with ease. She is very sweet and loves attention, and she lets ya know when she needs her time to just relax and take a nice afternoon nap. Personality Profile: I am full of personality and spunk! I often hear people ask around me, "Who is that cat?", and that's because I am always running through the halls or after a feather wand, making people shriek with delight. I can easily leap a person's height to catch toys and other objects of interest. I like other cats but have no problems occupying myself with anything I can bat around. You will enjoy me as your new family member if you like entertainment from your felines, plus pizazz to spare. And would you mind sharing your dinner with me? I love the smell and the taste of delicious meal fresh from the microwave, or sharing a bag of potato chips. I've got a wild streak, so life as an indoor/outdoor kitty would be quite satisfying.

She enjoys the company of all the kittens in the nursery even though she is a big kitten, almost an adult now. She is a sweet little lady who would probaly do best in a quieter home. Personality Profile: This girl appears to be a lynx mix, with the pointy hairs on her ears & those piercing eyes. Her attitude is somewhat variant, depending on her location. She sometimes likes to hide in cat boxes and prefers to be left alone. When out in the open though, she thoroughly enjoys being petted & loved on. Who doesn't appreciate (and deserve) some time alone every now and then? She gets along well with other cats & has even produced a litter of her own (hence, her name). Sadly none of them made it, so we let her get away with what she wants sometimes, when she's demanding peace & quiet. She is a very lovely, patient kitty that would probably do best in a home with no dogs due to her nervous attitude. She could really blossom in a home that would spend time showing her the devotion & care that we believe every animal genuinely deserves!

Personality Profile: This very social guy likes to give head butts when you come into the cat room. He is social and loves attention. He is fine with all the other cats in the room and he can also hang out with dogs, even though his fellow cat friends think he is an odd ball beacause of that. He's a big boy that deserves someone with a big heart! There are lots of pictures of him, please take a peek! Currently in his foster home he is doing wonderful and his foster mom had lots of good things to say about him! He is a true lap cat and anytime you are on the couch you can count on him to hop right in your lap. At night Ponzu is right at her side waiting to go to bed. He loves sleeping under the cover with his human, where it's warmest and coziest of course! He tends to be a bit nervous when new commers are around, but it's hard to explain to fellow like Ponzu that they are just visiting, and don't mean to scare him. Ponzu would fit best in a home with cats, dogs, and if there are are children, he would do best with children that are over 12. Personality Profile: Big boy Yang and his brother Ying were in the county shelter for about three months before they arrived here. Yang is loving but he needs a minute to smell ya and make sure you are safe before he comes outta his warm cubby. He had a little bit of an eye cold and didn't want his picture taken, but we told him, if we don't put pictures up, how are ya gonna fine your new home. Personality Profile: What a joy Geraldine is to have with us!!! She was a great Momma cat who raised her five babies to be wonderful little kittens. She loves attention. She isn't pushy about it though, she lets everyone get their loving time too, I don't think there is such a thing as a greedy Momma Cat. She missed her babies for quite a bit when they were weened, but now she is enjoying life having Gereldine time and not kitten time 24 hours a day. Personality Profile: Seinfield and his sister Slippers are new to p4e. Prior to staying with us they were growing up together in a cage at the county shelter. Seinfield is a joy to have here with us. He is a very outgoing boy with interesting markings. He is mostly white and has black running through his coat and in patches. He is a love bug who will hop right into your lap for lovings, or you can pick him up and he won't mind a bit. He loves being around all his new friends, and like his sister Slipper, he has a pair of go go get-em sneaks that he puts on when the moode strikes him. He will go zipping around the room jumping and darting and just having the best time possible. He is a HUGE fan of cat T.V. and loves to chase the birds and mice he see's on it. Personality Profile: Elvis and his brothers Eddie and Elroy were surrendered to the county shelter together because of financial issues. These big boys were terrified there and were quickly transfered to stay with us. Elvis is a very sleek, and has almost a mystrerious air about him. He is getting much more confident now and isn't hidding in a cubby jammed in with Eddie and Elroy. He has a loud motor once it gets cranked and will hop in your lap for lovings once he knows you are his friend. Stop on in and help this big boy adjust even faster with kind words and lovings, ya never know, he may be your new best friend.

Personality Profile: Willow was a great Momma cat who is still awaiting her forever home along with some of her babies. She is a beautiful lady full of spunk and vigor. Willow also love to watch the T.V. but at a distance, she normally doesn't attack the T.V. like some of the other kitties. She does well with the other cats, but if they make her mad, she takes care of bussiness. She has met some dogs and decided that she does not want to live with them. Personality Profile: After being a good loyal kitty for 7 years Wendy was dumped at the county shelter because her owners got a dog that didn't like cats. When we transferred her to our facility she was covered in fleas and had a horrible flea allergy. Her beautiful coat is starting to grow out and her skin is feeling much better. She tends to sit by herself in a soft cubby hole away from everyone. When you sit on the floor next to her she looks at you with her big eyes and starts rolling around and letting you pet her, even her belly. She is a tiny girl that will always look like a kitten. Like our girl Theia she has had an unfortunate dealing with humans but is still forgiving, just a littly wary. Come on in and visit with little Wendy. The future looks much brighter her, and who knows, maybe your the one that is forseen in it.

Personality Profile: This girl is a whole bunch of kitty in a little petiet package. Before she was spayed she was in heat so she was a handfull. Then she had her spay surgery and was a very angry girl for a couple of days. She would sit in the middle of the cat room all alone and growl at the wall or cat toy, what ever was closet. Now she is really starting to cool off and be a little happy girl. She loves to sit in your lap and make biscuits. She doesn't mind being picked up and held eiter, we feel she likes to feel that she is the princess, and above all the other kitties. Now that she is better she should excell in any type of home situation. Children, other cats,and even dogs would be fine by this girl. As long as she gets her loving and is made to feel like a spoiled princess, she will be the happiest litlle kitty ever.

Personality Profile: I'm satisfied with the basic things in life. A rug to lay on in the sun, a bowl of food and water, and a few head, cheek, and chin scratches; and I am content. I don't mind sharing these fine things with a cat friend either. I'm the quiet type and don't act too obnoxious when visitors come by like some of my feline counterparts. The way I see it, if someone takes the time to notice me --the polite girl in the corner-- than they're worth the time I've spent waiting for that special someone. Personality Profile: Crumbs and her sister Cassaarole have been with us for some time now. We got them form a kitty rescue who saved over 20 cats from an elderly couple whose trailor became unlivable. Crumbs has been trouble adjusting to the kitten nursery, but every day is a new day for her. Here she is safe and warm, and has fresh food and water every day, something she was unacostomed to. She has been comming out more and more and a little less frightful. She would probally do best in a quiter home where the daily life isn't hustle and bustle. She does wonderful with all the other cats, and is a bit nervous around dogs, but given the right situation, she could live harmoniously with a dog. Personality Profile: Southpaw is new here at p4e. She was at the county shelter for many months before comming to stay here with us. She was very frightened at first, and was hidding in the safe, soft cubbies, but now she is out and about the room. She is a very petite little lady with dashing looks. She has very unique markings with her black and white coat that make her stand out from the rest. She doesn't like to be picked up, not all cats do, but she will hop in your lap and snuggle with you if you sit in the room and talk to her. She quickly made friends with all the other cats and is a great new addition to cat room 2.

Personality Profile: Eddie was surrendered to the county shelter along with his brothers Elvis and Elroy because of financial issues. Eddie was very sick when he got here and the stress of the new surroundings made his kitty cold even worse. Now he is adjusting quite nicely and even comes out when ya call him. One of the staff members calls him Edddie Spaghetti and he comes running when he hears her voice. He is much better with his cold and once he is 100% we will get some new photos up of this pretty boy. He loves attention and lounging around now, a very impressive change from scrammed in a cubby scared with his two big brothers. When i here the rustle of a bag of chips, I come flying in the room to see what the humans are eating and hopefully sharing. Personality Profile: Schnapps is a wonderfull little lady. She is quiet, and causes no chaos in the cat rooms. Schnapps has very pretty markings, her striking triangle on her nose is just one of them. She is great with all the cats, adults, children, and doesn't seem to mind dogs either. She would make an excellent addition to any type of home, maybe it is yours.

Personality Profile: *FRONT DECLAWED* Mimsy is a laid back lady. She loves to lounge on big soft pillows in the morning sun. If someone is in her spot, she tends to kick them outta their seat so she can have the prime seat in the sun. Other than that, she gets along great with the other cats, and doesn't seem to mind the company of dogs. She did live with children, so she is great with kids. Personality Profile: I have been here at p4e along with my brother Monty since the begining. Why neither one of us have ever found a home is beyond me. I am a big girl, with a whole lot to offer. Many people who come in ask if I am pregnant, and the staff always laughs and says no. At first I was taking offence to this, ya think us cats don't have feelings!!!!!! But as time went on, I have learned to just ignore rude coments, and occasionally I do laugh myself at the ridiculous remarks. Me pregnant, HA!! I was spayed before I ever new what being pregnant was all about. But enough about that. ( I just had to get that out of the way before you yourself might ask the same thing, and I won't even let it offend me!) So I am beatiful, charming, amazing blue eyes, independent, Quite playful when the moode strikes me( I do loveeee catnip), can find the best and warmest places to sleep, and the shocker of them all , I am single and looking for someone to love. I could love a family, it doesn't have to be just one person, I have plenty of love to give. It would be really cool if you would adopt me and my brother, but I understand if you only like girlly girl cats and not boy cats( no offence to my bro, I do love him dearly) So next time you are in town, look me up, I am usally free on Friday nights and sometimes Saturday afternoons, I am a social butterfly, what can I say!!

Personality Profile: Mr. Pip came in from the county shelter full of love and purrs, along with some very serious fur mats. He was a wonderful sport in the bath , and then the trimming that was needed to get all his mats out. He is an older guy, and had a rough life up untill now. He holds no hard feelings agianst anyone though, and starts each day with a bounce in his step and happy meow. He still has a happy purr, and lots of head butts to give.

She is front declawed so she isn't too found of dogs, but given the right match she could live happily with one. Personality Profile: Mr. Mom is currently staying with Mr. Pants in a foster home. Mr. Mom raised all her babies who all found loving homes. Theia was seen thrown out of a car window that was driving down a road in Orange County. The two horrified girls that witnesed this despicable act of cruelty quickly got off the road, flew outta their car and rushed to Thiea. Amazingly she wasn't OK and was saved by the kindness of her two angle humans. Now she is with us, recovered from road rash, bumps, and bruises. After she was well enough she was spayed and now is available for adoption. After all this girl has been through she still has a loving nature for everyone. When the staff cleans the rooms in the morning, she rubs in between their legs meowing and gently purring. She discovered her seat by the window and hates to give it up but will share with the other kitties. She didn't want to move from her perch to get pictures taken, but she allowed it for a little while, then back to her window seat she went.

There isn't enough great words to describe this boy. When staff is cleaning the rooms, he will jump on their backs and rub on their heads making it impossible to do anything but love on him. The neat thing about it is that even when he jumps on us, he doesn't dig his claws in and make your eyes pop outta your head. Incrediable!!! As soon as you enter the room, or even if he sees you through the window, his motor kicks on and does not shut down until the place is locked up, then he probally purrs in his sleep. Every day is a good day to Silhouette, bad days are unknown to him. He would make a great addition to any home, as long as they were in need of a very loving boy. Personality Profile: Hello there. I have been told my name is Rapa which means Moonbeam in Hawaiian. It doesn't have the same amount of toes as my other foot. It looks kinda wierd, but it doesn't bother me in the least. Personality Profile: Elroy and his brothers Eddie and Elvis were surrenderd to the county shelter together because of financial issues. Elroy had a hard time adjusting to his new surroundings and would hide under blankets or in the cubbies crammed with his two brothers. Elroy is a new kitty now. He still likes to pretend he is shy when you first go in the cat room. He plays peek a boo with you from the comfort of a soft cubby for awhile. Then once he realizes you are a new friend he will cautiously come out and say hello. All you have to do is touch Elroy once nad his motor is cranked on into high gear, there is no first gear with him. He will roll around and strech his legs out as far as they can go, begging for as much lovings as you are willing to offer him. Personality Profile: Well with a name like Screamer, do we have to mention he talks a lot? He loves to meow really loud, sometimes growl very loud, or purr very loud. He is very aloof with the other cats and tends to just hang out in a nice soft spot and watch the happenings in the adoption center. He was surrenderd to a shelter because the family ws moving out of the country and didn't want to take him along. Personality Profile: Frankie is an all around great guy. He adapts to any situation very quickly. He loves all the other cats, people, children, and he LOVES dogs. If he could go to a home with a dog he would be in Frankie Heaven! He recently staied at one of the staff members house for a sleepover, and did wonderfull. The staff member has five dogs and nine cats. Frankie was right at home. He needed no ajustment time and acted like he had lived there his whole life. Personality Profile: Bob is a new guy at paws4ever. He was surrendered to a county shelter for no reason. He is currently scared and sad not really knowing what has happened to his family. So now it looks like my days of farming are done and now I am living inside. Ya know I do like it. I always wondered where the farmer slept at night, if it was nicer than out in the barn. Personality Profile: This new lady is full of sass and love for everyone that walks in the room. At first she was a little unsure of all the goings on in this new strage place, but quickly settled in. She has a loud meow to get your attention, and then she kick starts her motor and you can hear it from across the room. Eggplant is very big girl with a heart that matches. Personality Profile: Slipper and her brother Seinfield are new here at p4e. They were at the county shelter growing up together in a cage before arriving here and giving us added joy to cat room 2. Slipper is a little girl, but still has some growing to do. She is a vocal lady who likes to talk to you when you come in the room. Once she has your attention she will hop in your lap, or you can scoop her up into your arms for endless purring and lovings. She is great with the other kittes in the room, and never causes any problems. She is an active young girl who loves to play with Seinfeld and the other kitties who love hopping around. She is hysterical to watch when she puts on her go-go sneakers and tears around the room as fast as she can.

Personality Profile: Sebastion is a new big guy on the block. He's got a huge head and an even louder motor. He's very affectionate and loves giving head butts and following you around the cat rooms meowing for attention. He's a very outgoing boy who doesn't have an ounce of shyness in him.

Personality Profile: As content and comfortable as she looks in her picture, Pandita's happy ending almost did not exist. Left outside in her carrier in front of a local shelter on a cold January night, Pandita was extremely stressed out and hiding under the towels in her cage when the shelter staff got her inside. She also began to lose some of the fur on her backside. Paws4Ever was called and the shelter transferred her out to see if the open cat room environment would do the trick. Unfortunately, she was already so depressed, she chose to stop eating. The good folks at Veterinary Specialty Hospital donate their services once a quarter forPaws4Ever animals that need extra care and took Pandita's case. Dr. Concannon was quick to find a doctor that could see Pandita. Her blood results confirmed she had hepatic lipidosis. Since it was curable and diagnosed in time, a feeding tube was inserted and Pandita left for Executive Director, Tracy Carroll's home until she would eat on her own. For the next week and a half Pandita was tempted by food but she was content having the feeding tube be her source of nourishment. Finally about a week and a half later, Tracy put some food in front of Panditaand low and behold she began to eat. Thanks, to the local shelter, Paws4Ever staff and volunteers, and the staff at Veterinary Specialty Hospital, Pandita is back in action and ready for her forever home. Personality Profile: This new lovely lady is a LOVE BUG. She likes to pretend that she isn't and act like she is shy sometimes, but don't let that fool ya. She loves to purr and get lovings from everyone and does a little happy dance and rubs her little head on anything that is available. Come on in and meet Quinta and all her new friends in cat room 2. That room is hopping with a bunch of new cats from Caswell County shelter and has been a hit with all the visitors. I tend to make the other silly cats ( who are no where near as fabulous as me) mad because when I put on my crazy pants I really tear it up. The only time I take my crazy pants off is when I sleep, but in my dreams I am still ruling the world. Well there is one other thing I do with my crazy pants, but it's very sweet. Personality Profile: When I see you, I'll come running! I'm always waiting for the next visitor to come along and allow me the opportunity for another perspective home. I'm a very conservative girl and I won't push myself on you for attention. I just want to be noticed and then I'll move on about my merry way. I love to chase kitty toys and dive under rugs when we're playing. I'm very appealing to the eye with my small white feet and tiny, short tail. Right now I'm in a foster home, and I adjusted to it right away. There a abunch of cats here, and we get along wonderfully. There are a bunch of dogs here too, and they are o.k. They make me a little nervous sometimes, but the other cats showed me the ropes, so I don't mind them too much at all. A new thing I discoverd I LOVE, is getting my belly rubbed. Personality Profile: Denver, and his friends San Diego, Kansas City, Oakland, yes they are football fans:) , recently came to p4e from a very bad situation. They were from a home that contained at least fifty other cats!!! It was someone that was breeding exotic short hairs, and the situation quickly became out control. Denver has gone through numerous encounters, and as a result, is a bit on the shy side. He is a big sweetie once he gets to know ya, so don't let that shy side scare ya away. Come on in and check out Denver and his friends, they are funny and beautiful looking all at the same time. Some people have told us they look angry, but to each his own right:) So check them all out and see what you think! UPDATE!!! Personality Profile: Hello hello hello My name is Sparkplug, ya think it has something to do with my amazing eyes? Honestly I've never seen my own eyes, but all the kitties and visitors can't get overhow big and bright they are. When my photo shoot was going on I was new to the room and a little nervous. My staff told me they would get better pictures up of me soon, they better, the other kitties said that I am much to stunning for pictures alone. So ya know what that means, ya gotta come visit me and see what a wonderful girl I am. I love playing with the felt mice and the crinkly cat toys, they can entertain me for hours on end. Throw in a crinkle cat chute, and man oh man, I am set for the day. As you can see I am very easy to please, and I am also more than happy to please you and love you forever.
