He loves attention and is always purring and giving lots of head buts. He's a little difficult to get a picture of because he won't stop rubbing on the camera, silly guy. Tiny loves everyone, cats, and he doesn't mind dogs a bit either! When the staff is cleaning the cat rooms, he follows us from room to room. He loves people and talking to you as well. Tiny T recently had his teeth cleaned and an entire mouth exam. After going through the painful exam and cleaning it was determined that he needs to stay on liquid doxy once daily to keep himself in check. He also needs to stay on predisone everyother day as well as a peventive. Since most folks are leary about that, sweet Tiny T. , still sits greeting everyone at the door and patiently awaiting his forever home. If there is such a thing as a perfectly behaved kitty, Tiny would be that. He really is a joy to be around and no matter how your day is going, he manages to cheer you up. Recently one of our visitors here was having a difficult time in their life and were feeling very down trodden and depressed. Tiny immedielty went to that person who really was on the verge of tears and nestled his head into their hands. He instantly made the person stop focusing on the bad and realized that things were o.k, and life would go on in a positve way. He should be the poster child for Chicken soup for the shelter cats soul. We could go on and on on what wonderful kitty Tiny T. is but we would fill pages, so we will stop here. Personality Profile: If you meet me, you will love me instantly. I can't help it, I am just so loving, gentle, and cute. I deserve to live in the lap of luxury and I will return the gift with unconditional love and companionship. I am currently in a foster home with another p4e cat, Green Eyes. I am definitely the love of the household. I love to be with my human friends all the time. Anytime I see some one sit down, I am in their lap for loving and snuggle time. We lived with so many animals and junk everywhere, it was hard to get around the place. Now here at p4e we are living it up, with just other kitties in a room all to our selves. Personality Profile: As you can see from my pictures I am a very unique looking cat with plenty of personality to go with my good looks.I was found near the Caswell County animal shelter foraging for food in July of 2011.The good folks at the shelter kept me for three months until the Paws-4-Ever rescue van came and took me on a ride to Mebane.Now that I am here I have adjusted well to living with all these other cats and have even made a few feline friends. I love to be scratched on my chin and I will allow the humans here to pick me up so come in to visit .I would love to make one more trip to my forever home and be with my family.I have a feeling that you might be the the one to complete my adventure and allow me to become your companion. Personality Profile: Unfortunately, Stew’s story is very familiar at Paws4Ever. Stew was surrendered to the Caswell County shelter in January 2011 because his owner could no longer care for him. Although the Caswell County shelter stays at full capacity, Susan and Brie, shelter staff members, were determined to be a voice for Stew. They held Stew for three weeks until Theresa from Paws4Ever was able to bring him to the Paws4Ever sanctuary. Within three days, Kathy Schnizler, our former clinic manager, was able to neuter Stew and get his vaccinations completed. Kathy also noticed discharge coming from Stew’s right eye. Eye ointment didn’t help, so Theresa contacted Dr. Wendy Simpson at the Morrisville Cat Hospital. Dr. Simpson carefully examined Stew and determined his eye had Entropion, an inward turning of the eyelashes. Dr. Simpson referred Stew to the Animal Eye Clinic at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) in Cary, and only charged P4E $1! Seven months later, with the help of donations from the Paws4Ever Meds4Paws fund, Stew was able to have eye surgery. Stew was brought back to the VSH where he was greeted with warmth by Brittany, the receptionist, and other members of the staff. Stew had a quick exam and was whisked away to surgery. We were able to pick Stew up later that night, and the staff at VSH was incredibly caring. Dr. Jennifer P. Fontenelle performed Stew’s surgery. She is our most recent hero to the animals as she did a fantastic job and we received a discount of more than $111! Stew’s surgery went very well, and his recovery will continue for several more months. Dr. Steven Swanner at Creekside Animal Clinic in Mebane will take Stew’s sutures out in a couple of weeks. We hope that Stew will find his forever home soon! We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the Meds4Paws fund. The Med4Paws fund continues to give animals like Stew another chance at a happy life with a forever family.

Personality Profile: Ocean is a special lady here at p4e. We asked her if she would like to write her own bio and she just looked at us and we understood, yes, we would do it for her. When we first got Ocean, honestly, she was a mess. She was completely matted and had urine and fecal matter all over her bottom. The matts were so bad we had to almost completely shave all her fur off. She was very greatfull for us taking care of her and never fussed while we had to do all that. She staied at our clinic for a few days, getting used to us and realizing we ment her no harm and that we wanted her to trust us to take good care of her. After a couple of days she was moved over to our kitten nursery, so she could have a quiter room than one of the adult cat rooms. At that time we only had a few kittens. Well once we started getting more kittens we moved Ocean to the second cat room. She hid for a little while, and slowly started venturing out and lounging around. Once she was settled in she started to get on the moody side. Since we have no idea what Ocean has been through in her years before coming to us, we just understand that she needs her space and we respect that. We all feel that Ocean deserves a very special home where she will be able to have her space and realize that her adoptive family loves her and she will never go through any hard ships again.
