Personality Profile: Aragon is settling in here at p4e. He's a young guy and acts like a big puppy most of the time. We don't know what the start of his life was like, and if he could tell us he would. It must of been a rough one, because he can be nervous about strange nosies, and can get spooked out. He was very malnurished when we got him, we could see his hip bones, and count his ribs. When he gets nerovus he gets the most pitaful face and shakes, and waits for one of his human friends to tell him it's ok. Once he realizes it was just a silly noise, he calms back down. I get along well with all my doggie friends here, oh and the humans are nice too, they just don't run around and play with me as much as my doggie friends do :) I am nice to the kitties when I come in to visit in the office or have a bath( which I don't see the point of, I am beatiful no matter what), but outside when I see the kitties I do get a little excited. My humans friends told me I should be fine in a home with kitties, so I thought I should mention that. I also get excited around kids, I can't help it. They are at my level, and most of them want to run around and play like the adults don't. I don't do anything mean I just will tug on your shirt a little to get your undivided attention. So if I sound like the woman you can't live without, please call the humans here. They will give me the good news, but I'm not allowed to use the phone, just like all my buddies can't. So I can't call ya back but please come in and vist though, I can do that!!! I love to go for walks, oh and by the way, I am wonderful on the leash.

Personality Profile: Frito had the luxury of going home for a night to one of our staff members homes. As you can see from his pictures, he was a wonderful visitor. He was housetrained, slept well overnight without a sound. He also played well with the other resident dogs. He has a deformity on one of his feet - he is missing all but one toe on his back left leg - but that has not slowed him down one bit. He can be sensitive with certain parts of his body, but we believe this could be a result of what happened with his foot injury.

Weighing in at a mere 20 pounds, she would make a great lap dog.She is perfect with children of all ages(they can pull on her face and she doesn't even mind!!) Noelle loves other dogs of all shapes and sizes, no fear in her heart, she just thinks that all dogs are happy go lucky like herself. She is great with cats, so she gets to be one of the lucky ones here, and hang out with the staff in the office. She loves going for walks and has excellent leash manners. She is currently going through heartworm treatment, but it doesn't phase her attitude in the least. When she is done with her treatment and can really play again and will be very excited about that. She wants to play sooo badly, but because of her treatment, we have to restrict her activity. Once she is done, she will be able to play with all her friends again and not just try to play throught he fence. Noelle also has her adorable features to go along with her cuddley personality. She is 100% of excellence, there is no going wrong with the littlest beagle with the biggest heart. Come on in and meet her, and fall in love!!!

Personality Profile: Fred recently went home for a sleep over too. He visited one of the staff members house for two nights and did beautifully! Fred rides calmly in the car and relaxes in his crate easily. He also quickly settles into his open crate at night, or when napping during the day. He did a wonderful job visiting the radio station( even though it was totally new to him!) He was a little shy for the first minute or two, but relaxed quickly(treats help). Fred got along with her old, irritable Jack Russell, and he did not bother the (tough) cat next door,either! he learns quickly, he is quiet, and Fred will make a fantastic family dog. Fred is still learning his house-training, so he will need a regular routine for walks and going out, and he may need reassuance when he sees totally new suburban things(such as leaf blowers, bicycles, busses, joggers in pink suits, storm drains, etc). The only thing bringing her down is the fact that she can't run and play with all her friends untill the treatment is done, which should be the 24th of September. She is a great lady with a cute wiggle. She has a little nub for a tail, and it never stops shaking! Before she started treatment, she was able to play with a lot of doggie friends. She's great with all the dogs,and can't wait untill she can play with them again. She has excellent leash manners, and always has a smile on her face. (or a goofy grin)

As big as he is, he has been a gentle giant. He has wonderful leash manners, enjoys playing with tennis balls with his human pals, and so far his favorite thing is a good roll around in the grass. Personality Profile: Puzzle was recently returned to the adoption center due to his adopters health. He is adjusting very quickly back into the routine here. He would much rather be in a home than in a kennel (like all our dogs) but he has a great attitude about it. Since he was in a home, he is acostomed to living in a house, and respecting house rules. He doesn't chew on inapprorate things, and is housetrained. He loves the other dogs here, and never has any grief with anyone, even our bigger dogs!! He is a very loving boy who just wants to snuggle and be with his person all the time. He's got a big heart packed full of love in his little stout self. Come in and meet this little love bug!! :)
